Founder & Principal Investor

Joseph Edwards III

With hands-on involvement in over a dozen deals totaling $25 million in revenue, I am a dedicated dealmaker focused on building lasting value through strategic acquisitions. Though relatively new as a principal investor, I bring a deep well of experience across USPS Mail Haul, Line Haul Trucking, FedEx Ground Line Haul, FedEx P&D Routes, Non-Emergent Medical Transport, Livestock Hauling, and Heavy Equipment sectors.

As an owner-investor and family man, I've learned valuable lessons. I combine strong leadership, operational expertise, and a proven track record in process improvement — bolstered by formal LEAN training — to drive growth and efficiency in every business acquired.

Leadership

A Calling for Leadership and Management

My leadership experience spans healthcare, industrial safety, trucking, and the local community — managing departments with up to 70 direct reports, with full control over budget, compliance, and HR function.

Supported by a robust network for capital sourcing and fundraising, I'm well resourced to close deals that create real, sustainable value — not just on paper, but for the people and communities each business serves.

Family & Legacy

Built on Family, Built to Last

As an owner-investor and family man, I've learned that building businesses works the same way as building strong, lasting relationships — with transparency and trust at every step.

Motivated by a calling to leadership, financial freedom, and meaningful partnerships, I'm focused on growing CKR Holdings into a legacy that honors and builds upon what has already been created — for my family, and for every community our acquisitions serve.

Our Stance

America's modern-day infrastructure was built on the trucking industry. America relies on its function. The families and communities that these small trucking companies support rely on honesty, transparency, safety, technology, and compliance.

To me, it starts with educating the next generation of truckers, revealing the pride that should be carried in the trucking industry, and holding every trucking company and commercial driver to the highest industry standard. Our communities deserve it.
